When the semester gets busy, I write less and share more. That’s just the nature of it. (Seminary is often demanding… who knew?)

As I was reading this morning’s Morning and Evening, more than a few passages kept coming to mind. Certainly, Galatians 2:20 and Romans 5:8 were there. But this famous conclusion to one of the greatest chapters of Scripture tops the list:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,

“For Your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
